There is a difference between Jesus and a Creator

Sometimes I think religions, particularly Christianity, can confuse the issue as to whether there is an ultimate Creator or not because it brings in a whole different element. I think it forces people to have to believe in what the religion states instead of just considering if there is some Creator. Maybe some kind of living being that exists and is living like us and is able to create all this somehow. Those are just my own feelings

Jesus is God so.....
@BritishFailedAesthetic Source: Trust me bro
@GoToTheCompound Source: Why didn't he rebuke the crowds for worshipping him and why did he use the sacred phrase "I AM" When reffering to himself, bro?
Baremine · 70-79, C
@BritishFailedAesthetic because Jesus is God.
@Baremine Amen!
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@Baremine according to religion
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Axeroberts according to the word of God.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@Baremine well the God I know is nondenominational
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Axeroberts I totally agree with that.
@Axeroberts
well the God I know is nondenominational

Then why do you keep harping on religions, which have nothing to do with salvation? Exactly what God do you serve?
@BritishFailedAesthetic There's no proof of any of it so why quote it? Especially being that the bible was only created a few hundred years ago and it's probably been rewritten and edited more times than any of us are aware of. And because it was created by Europeans during a time where domination of the population was their main goal, which should tell you the bible is more of a weapon than anything else.
@GoToTheCompound

Especially being that the bible was only created a few hundred years ago

@LadyGrace because it has been my personal experience that religion drives many people away from God. And I am saying there are other ways of knowing Him
@Axeroberts
religion drives many people away from God. And I am saying there are other ways of knowing Him

Well you've got that right. That's because religion has nothing to do with salvation. It's only men made philosophy, not Anchored In God's Word. And we know that because the Holy Spirit never drives people away from christ, but to Him. And that's exactly where you are mistaken things. It's a devil's lie that there are many or even other ways of knowing Christ or His Father.

Just look what Jesus had to say, about what you just said. Jesus said only one way leads to His Father in Heaven. He could not have made it any more clear. Look at the verse:

@LadyGrace I don't believe God judges and condemns. He enlightens
@Axeroberts
I don't believe God judges and condemns. He enlightens

Then read this, so I don't have to repeat that again, here.

Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LadyGrace so God loves us and shows it by not judging and condemning. But we don't all believe in this salvation as you do
@Axeroberts yes I understand that, but I'm saying that people should go by what God says, because he cannot lie and he is always right. God Knows Best and I'm sure we're not smarter than God, nor wiser. I think common sense tells us we can do it our way instead of God's way, but it's pretty obvious that that won't work. God only has our best interest at heart. He proved that, and his love for us, on the cross.
@Axeroberts read that article I sent you to read, please. And then you'll see the way things work and why God is just.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LadyGrace but you talk as if the bible and God are one in the same
@Axeroberts They are- the Bible describes God.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic but my beliefs don't
@Axeroberts I can believe the earth is flat......
@Axeroberts They are, friend. They are. It's hard to explain being it deals with the supernatural, but that's what God said and I believe him. They are inseparable.

In the beginning, was the Word. And the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus is the Word, made incarnate through Mary.
@Baremine So do I agree that God is nondenominational. Has nothing to do with religion. Christ did not die for the religions of this world. He died for everyone in this world.
@BritishFailedAesthetic What? You believe the earth is flat?
