Does what goes around really come around?

I really hope so.

Eventually it does if a person lives long enough. Maybe they don’t get the full repayment but a good taste of it. and if they don’t learn anything from it they’ll get even more.

@cherokeepatti This gives me hope. Thank you!

@sdave455 Just thinking back on some evil acts that people I knew well committed and how they ended up. Of course they don’t get the full repayment but they get better than I could do as an act of revenge and at least I keep my hands cleans.

I wish that were so but I've seen too many times people not get a Karma Payback

@SlippingAway “ In this world, the bad guys can win! “ The Ripper -from the movie Last Action Hero
@sdave455 yes and good people sometimes get the short end of the stick

Not always. But the people who believe it do have a much better ride than those who don't.

@Ynotisay That’s pretty self supporting.

@sdave455 Yep. Life's a solo.

Not in the case of someone I know that deserves it.

It does, but not in the way a lot of us envision it. Karma isn't about an action leading to a penalty. Karma is about the growth and evolution of the human soul, and sometimes those lessons come in the form of learning, of being better next time, and they can be very deliberate and slow.

In the eye of some, karma is about providing the service of helping another grow and progress. Not about hoping for the same pain inflicted on others.

No, unfortunately it doesn't happen that way, at least no often enough.

It's totally random.

Sure it does... And anyone that says otherwisw is lying to you. They may be able to delay the arrival of it coming around. Which only make it meaner and nastier when it arrives. But it really is a law of physics. Newtons third Law to be exact..😷

Thinking people always get what they deserve, whether good or bad, is partially true but sometimes it is just something we say to feel better about a situation.
@CestManan I agree. If everybody got what they deserved, it would be the covid deniers who got the sickest.

Not by people mostly - more or less you won't know -
In the bible its say " The final hour of death we be judged by our actions "
It means the guy you dated in high school will inevitably end up working with your husband. So be nice 😆

It does but it isn't immediate. Patience my friend 🙂
Indy74 · 46-50, F
Yes, it sure does!!
I hope so, too. There are several people in my life who have something coming, but I'm not going to be the one to give it to them.
