John 13:34 seems to get lost in the shuffle with some around here.

@SW-User Well, surely that doesn't apply to homosexuals or people of other races, right? 😆

@LordShadowfire That is not true. Jesus expects us to love people as they are. That doesn't mean we should encourage them when they do whatever they please.

@Lichocolati it is rarely demonstrated here.

So, not harassing them to change is the same thing as encouraging them to do as they please? Also, please explain to me in as much detail as necessary where Jesus said homosexuality was bad.

@LordShadowfire You do know that Jesus is God right. Whatever was said in the Old Testament is still valid in the New. In the Old Testament God tells us not to kill and in the New he tells us to love each other. Jesus didn't come to change the law but to fulfill it
In the Old Testament he said that there should not be same sex relations and that still stands.

@Lichocolati So, you've got absolutely nothing. As I suspected.

@LordShadowfire If you read Genesis 19 you'll see that God wanted to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because it was filled with sin. If God was okay with same sex relationships why did everyone there die except for Lot and his family. There are many scriptures in the Old Testament where God is telling Israel against these acts.
But then again if you want to go whatever you want to do you'll overlook everything so what's the point.
