People are indeed turning away from Christianity and the truth. The Bible actually prophesied this. It does nothing but show the Bible to be right on yet another thing:
"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron." 1 Timothy 4:1-2
This is happening because, "evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." 2 Timothy 3:13.
And because, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
The more wicked America becomes, the more it rejects God and becomes degenerate, eventually leading up to it's complete destruction. First a pandemic, now it's only a matter of time before the economy tanks. Sexual perversion (and even moving towards an acceptance of pedophilia) everywhere you look, abortion, greed, an obsession with materialism and consumerism, hedonism, unnecessary Wars killing innocents, child trafficking and child sacrifice by the elites, hatred of God, lovers of themselves - narcissistic disobedient selfie taking me generation, pride due to unchecked prosperity, and host of other sin deserves such judgement. People are getting worse as time goes on, so the fact that they are rejecting religion, specifically Christianity, does not bolster your case for the validity of secularism and atheism in the slightest. Quite the contrary.

@Emosaur Well, it is God's Word, so it is the most reliable source we have, always have had and ever will have.
Secondly, even excluding the Bible verses I have used, the very fact that people are getting worse and more wicked as time goes on (look at all the things I listed in that last paragraph), shows what secularism and atheism does to countries and therefore demonstrates the opposite of what the author of this post is trying to make the case for.
