This is the area and lake I grew up on.

@YoMomma Oh thank you! It’s the globes 4th largest Great Lake and the most dangerous claiming the highest lake fatalities.

So the photograph was taken last week the water levels a lot higher and for over 20 years it was TOXIC!

That shine you see on the water is oil the water is jet black well a dark musty green now.

Any fish caught on the dock are poisoned by oil and gas so for boat less low caps we call it “Deadside” because things only came to our port to die..

Now the water levels been raised just a few years ago and I’ve hear it’s better.

@Sleepysheep oh i see, so it’s polluted by factory waste and oil spills and dead bodies tangled in seaweed? 😳 yikes.. toxic for sure is it saltwater like a bay then or is it a lake?

Pottahawk is Marty Gras on the water on big massive party where everyone with a boat drops anchor and enjoys the festivities! 🙂
