Regarding your profile pic, lose a bet @TexChik?

@SW-User I sure did, fair and square.

@TexChik They are an undisciplined team, they are the worst in penalties in the whole NFL. They never have a coach who disciplines his team, nor has them ready for a big game.
When they won games this year, it was with an up tempo offense. They were sleepwalking through this game. I guess when your 6-0 against the Eagles, Giants and Redskins, you're nothing more than a paper tiger.
Elliot was the worst signing and a big waste of money, he's already finished, that's why you don't pay running backs big money and give them long contracts. Pollard played a ridiculously low amount of snaps this game.
The 2021-22 Cowboys were a bully team, it's hard for them to play from behind. Very vulnerable to a good running game, the defense was exposed.
So was the offensive line which relies on finesse. When encountering a physical team, they don't play well.
I saw this loss coming, it wasn't a good match up for this team. They are going to lose a ton of players to free agency next year, such a shame they couldn't win a few play-off games this year.
Yearning for the days of Staubach and Landry, teams with discipline who played the game with class.

@therighttothink50 I saw it coming too. I suspect Elliot wont be back, they can cut him now
SW-User
@TexChik They won't cut him thus year. Maybe next.
His cap number will jump to $18.2 million in 2022 and $16.7 million in 2023.
The Cowboys could conceivably move on from Elliott before the 2023 season with a cap hit of $11.8 million. That dead money figure drops to $6 million in 2024.
@SW-User After this season, before the next deadline, if they cut him his cap it is only 3 million , according to the local radio stations

@TexChik Conflicting reports. I reckon we'll have to just wait and see.
TexChik · F
@SW-User yep, after this year they can release him.
