I Struggle With My Body Image

After many years, I have come to terms that I, and my body, are simply different. Nothing more, nothing less.

I have managed to find contentment and some simple pleasures, and yet, so many people seem compelled to try and undo this, as if they feel the need to make me return to being unhappy in myself.

Why do we have to be such a small minded and easily manipulated/brainwashed (I'm looking at the media here, and their constant pushing of the idea's of beauty held by a small number of old men who own the outlets) to following the "ideals" of a small number of decaying old men?

Sorry, had to vent.

There is nothing wrong with being a unique individual. Nor is there anything wrong with having a different body from others. What does matter is the person within. We are just and empty shell without that unique person. 🤗
