You know how messed up the world is

I ain't gonna lie, sometime I'm skeptical about random acts of kindness, but usually I can tell when someone's being genuine.

Very hard not to be pessimistic these days

I think people often project their own experiences onto others. It still sucks when your intentions get twisted tho. I'd rather live in a world with people who try to help than one where everyone just keeps walking.

Please don't let a few cynical people change who you are. The people you've genuinely helped will remember it, even if the loudest voices are the negative ones. 🫂

The world has become a skeptical place. Everyone over analysis's everything.

This is the price people pay for sensationalising and dramatising every aspect of our lives.

I’m holding on tightly to my 1980s values of laughing whenever I can and minding my own business.

Or doing it because "you expect them to repay you the favour later." 🙄
