I got blocked on IG by the one ex that got away

I never messaged her, never watched nor liked any of her stuff. I just searched her name to see her profile pic once in awhile. I hate that I still care...but at the same time, I feel like I needed this to completely close the door on this lie that I will never find a connection like i had with her with someone else. I have to start truly focusing on the next woman that comes into my life. It wasn't fair to the women I kept meeting and comparing them to how someone used to be.

I understand not being able to move on completely. I still sign on here just hoping to see someone who blocked me 7 years ago. New connections will never be the same, but they can be better.
