you can not be obese and healthy at the same time

sorry to break it to you all but facts are facts.
Glorifying obesity, this is the world we live in today with certain people.
Why do people struggle to acknowledge reality now and instead act as if their feelings is all that matter and those trump every thing else. It doesnt and if people actually cared for obese people, they would not glorify it and encourage it.

but hey, if you wanna end up in a early grave, keep shoveling in junk food day in and day out and not exercise at all. Its your life

Sumo wrestlers are obese but they work out as well they have fat and muscle they are healthy
Torsten · 36-40, M
@MoonaNorth86 yeah and they eat mountains of food daily
MoonaNorth86 · 36-40, F
@Torsten there are skinny people who eat more than their body look like couldn’t take but eat too much there obese people who don’t eat anything because they are afraid to put on a kilo you can’t say obese people eat too much you don’t know what they eat
Torsten · 36-40, M
@MoonaNorth86 and i am not saying those people are healthy. What i am saying and only saying is obesity is not healthy. that does not mean others who are not obese are automatically healthy though, but you can not be obese and still be considered healthy
MoonaNorth86 · 36-40, F
@Torsten I’ve never seen an obese person or overweight person at a fast food restaurant have you
MoonaNorth86 · 36-40, F
@Torsten maybe they can be you never know
Torsten · 36-40, M
@MoonaNorth86 yes actually. A lot.
But even if you didnt see them, that doesnt mean anything when so many get junk food delivered these days
Torsten · 36-40, M
@MoonaNorth86 no i do know because obesity by its very definition is unhealthy
MoonaNorth86 · 36-40, F
@Torsten you can’t aim at obese people I don’t know why being skinny has to be acceptable being skinny doesn’t mean a person is healthy
Torsten · 36-40, M
@MoonaNorth86 i never claimed it is but being overweight to the point of obesity is very unhealthy. Sorry you are having a hard time with this but it is what it is
MoonaNorth86 · 36-40, F
@Torsten but I don’t know why you’re aiming at obese people
Torsten · 36-40, M
@MoonaNorth86 because people today try denying it being unhealthy and attempt pushing this narrative that its healthy and I think that is a dangerous message to be spreading.

I wrote this thread after a user on this site kept trying to tell me that obesity is healthy
MoonaNorth86 · 36-40, F
@Torsten it can be healthy why is being skinny healthy
Torsten · 36-40, M
@MoonaNorth86 no it cant. I am not saying skinny people are healthy especially if by skinny you mean underweight. Again i am just saying obesity by its very nature is unhealthy. It is not healthy, no matter how anyone tries spinning it.
This isnt a thread saying only obese people are unhealthy. Of course that is not true but you can not be obese and healthy at the same time
MoonaNorth86 · 36-40, F
@Torsten skinny isn’t always underweight just skinny in general isn’t healthy either
Torsten · 36-40, M
@MoonaNorth86 if people are skinny but not underweight, how can you say they are not healthy?
MoonaNorth86 · 36-40, F
@Torsten you can’t be skinny and be healthy naturally
Torsten · 36-40, M
@MoonaNorth86 umm yes you can. If you are not under or over weight by its very definition you are in the healthy weight bracket
MoonaNorth86 · 36-40, F
@Torsten no I think you can be obese and be healthy if you can be skinny and eat and still be healthy
Torsten · 36-40, M
@MoonaNorth86 and you are wrong
MoonaNorth86 · 36-40, F
@Torsten no I’m not how come it’s ok for skinny people to eat whatever they want and not get judged but an obese person that drinks water gets criticised
Torsten · 36-40, M
@MoonaNorth86 because skinny does not mean underweight and obesity means overweight.
You cant really say skinny people are not judged when you are judging them yourself.
You can agree or disagree all you like but that doesnt change the facts. I am sorry but it just doesnt

@MoonaNorth86 Most of the people I have seen in fast food places when I have stopped in for coffee are obese or pimple faced snowflakes with no muscle mass but have bellies. Not only that but the fat asses going through the drive thru's are obese so much so it is difficult for them to get in and out of their cars and to lazy to walk in. So your idea that they are not obese you are wrong except possibly the children that are doomed to become obese that are brought in by their already obese parents.

@MoonaNorth86 Skinny does not mean being underweight nor unhealthy as some folks have a very high metabolism and process foods faster as they are healthy and most likely work hard or exercise a lot unlike the fat asses that do not. I weigh 180 lb. and 6'4" tall which is considered under the norm and I have stayed at this weight since I was 16 yr.s old and still weigh the same at 70 yr. I played football, track and baseball when young and in my 20's to 35 ran 6 miles three times per week. I also have watched what I eat and never eat processed foods (fast food). My wife is 5'6" runs 3 -4 miles 3 times per week still at 65, she used to run cross country and marathons when younger and held state records in high school. She weighs 130 lb. about 5 lb. more than her high school years.
@Torsten i hated being skinny. it was like that defined me. everyone assumed i was an anorexic model.
