What value do women think they gain through 'beauty treatment(s)' etc?
Who are they doing it for? What gains/benefits arise from it and for whom?
Do women do it to 'compete' with other women for the attention of other women? Or for the attention of men? For corporate advancement? For a perception of 'better relationship opportunities'?
Is it part of the hypergamist thinking culture that permeates the modern feminine psyche? It is part of the 'manifesting' culture/belief that feminine-focused 'energy healers' all promote (for their own commercial gain)?
Why can't women be like most men and just embrace who they are naturally without any need to 'looksmaxx' themselves in some way, shape or form?
