What is it about very obese people that can trigger such rudeness or disrespect in others
If a big person is eating or using mobility aids what is it that upsets some or causes others to be rude rather than ignoring them.what is it about them that triggers others
There is a potential in human nature to judge by looks but also to be concerned at not getting ones fair share. It may be that obese people are targeted both for not meeting ‘expected’ levels of looks and also because they appear to be getting more than other people.
They feel as though a person shouldn't have let themselves get this big so therefore, they "don't deserve" to eat nor to get around via motorized wheelchair

Yes, obesity often is self-inflicted (whether encouraged by others for whatever "reason") but its sufferers need care and help to lose all that weight before heart disease, diabetes or other serious illness related to their condition really sets in.
One the reasons I’m currently housebound is the hideous reactions and comment people have made. I know I’m beyond fat but doesn’t make it ok for people to comment. I just feel I can’t go out without being a circus freak for others entertainment.

@Willomk1 Women can be very catty and judgmental. Worked at a university and a lot of sorority members were this way. Not just about weight by also brand of clothing, wearing costume jewelry, hairstyles, etc
I had never thought of them getting more than their fait share was a problem for people thank you for that, also I can be more honest when I tell my wife their just jealous.
