Americans how do you feel about your team playing cricket in world cup and also performing very good

I feel like I might have to learn the rules now

I don't think the American people care much.Only the people from cricket playing nations who settled there care to watch the match.There was a public interview where the host asks about cricket and it's rules.One lady literally said,"Cricket?you mean the insect?".

I'm sure most Americans don't even know the cricket World Cup is being played in the USA, or that the USA even has a team... much less how well they have performed so far!!
