Looks like both the Royals and Chiefs are getting new stadiums. The new Royals stadium looks really nice. Right in the heart of K.C.

@Barefooter25 yes it will be very exciting we really needed this
@Barefooter25 I'm not convinced about the location of the Chief's new Arrowhead, if that's what they will continue to call it. It's near the junction of Interstate I-70 West and where the I-435 loop wraps around the west side of the metro. While that's a booming area, it's quite a distance from the KCMO core community and not really reachable by public transportation. So the Royals will be in the inner city, walkable, or get there by city bus, surrounded by hotels, multiple entertainment areas; the Chiefs new stadium will be in the far outer Kansas suburbs. I haven't checked the distance but they may even be closer to Leavenworth than they will be to KCMO.

@Heartlander I don't know much about the areas around Kansas City, MO or Kansas City KS. If there is any consolation to the Chiefs moving to the Kansas side, Kansas Speedway is also located in Kansas City, KS. Besides, not every NFL team has a stadium in the actual city they are supposed to represent.

Hard Rock Stadium is located in Miami Gardens, next to the Florida Turnpike. The New York Giants and Jets play in East Rutherford, NJ.

Oh yes, it will be near the speedway and the Legends. I think it's the hottest growth area in the city now. I believe Cerner has their corporate office near their now, Panasonic recently put in a huge EV battery plant. Lawrence and KU are just a stone throw to the west along I-70, Leavenworth and Lancing just a few miles north, all with easy access. Good friends have a farm nearby.

Being a Kansan myself, a pretty good location and better than where they are now. I just had rather it move to where the everyday Kansas City people are, near the heart of town where they could use the economic boost, and where the people without cars and without very much money could easily access.

When either the Royals or the Chiefs do something great, they have their parade down Main street and celebrate at Union Station and the Liberty Memorial, with a huge overflowing crowd. That's pretty close to where the new Royals' ballpark will go. Would be nice if the Chiefs would likewise be nearby.
