Please note the difference between baseball and other sports. In other sports, players must show up for training camp. In baseball, unless rehabbing from an injury, they must wait until they MAY report.

I can't BELIEVE it's almost time. That just flew by. I'm a longtime Dodger fan and it was just yesterday when one of the greatest Series ever was played. Need a longer break to soak it in.

@Ynotisay You remind me of the woman, a Dodger fan, outside the gates at the 1988 World Series, waiting for them to open. She was totally hyper; couldn't stand still, letting out little yips of joy. I asked if it was her first World Series game and she said, "No, but it may be my last!"

@dancingtongue Ha. "It may be my last" is a real thing for any sports fan. :)
