These posts are currently being made to a Parent Category, rather than Groups.
It was our intention to create individual groups for each sport, however, we hadn't yet gotten around to completing this for all categories (apologies for that unavailability).
Individual groups for both sports are now available:
Cricket - https://similarworlds.com/bat-ball/cricket
Baseball - https://similarworlds.com/bat-ball/baseball
They are considered to be in the same "Category" of Sport (Bat-and-ball games),
hence, they were placed under the same parent category.
They did however still need to have their own individual groups (which is now available).

@Andrew The issue is most people who watch baseball, don't watch cricket and visa versa.. Difference between American and European sports. Cricket isn't really in the US. We view them very differently.
Thanks for the update.

It is very unusual for anyone to take information gleaned from Wikipedia as a source. Most Universities won't even accept it as a valid source since it can be self edited.
A table tennis racket (also known as a "paddle" or "bat") is used by table tennis players. ... The USA generally uses the term "paddle" while Europeans and Asians use the term "bat"

@KiwiBird categorization of sports aren't really politicized or polarizing topics, such that heavy scrutiny on used sources, like Wikipedia, would benefit much.
Whether or not Wikipedia is useful as a source in discussion, depends on the nature of the topic.
I don't think it's unusual, for sharing information on casual topics.
For academic purposes, sure, that's very different, where most of the various academic fields would have their own official publications, which can be drawn from as sources.

@Andrew Thank you Andrew, for explaining it.
Wikipedia does its best but is still at the mercy of its contributors, and I have seen other clangers on it. Yes, cricket, baseball and tennis are all bat-and-ball games but there the resemblance ends! (Baseball's nearest is Rounders, its ancestor.)

@ArishMell, understood.
Other research methods outside of Wikipedia can be used.
I just presented what appears to be an adequate source, for a casual subject matter.
Other methods such as comparing search volume via Google Trends, can help to reveal the familiarity of terminology, by country or globally.
(Updated)
I can see that there is a higher Search Volume, specifically in United Kingdom, for "Table Tennis Bat" vs "Table Tennis Racket" (via Google Trends).
Globally however, "Table Tennis Racket" is more prominent (via Google Trends), and Similar Worlds is a generally global website, with majority US traffic.
