@KiwiBird I do like baseball but I would never compare it to cricket.
We have a 2 innings version here in South Wales.I’ve played that.

@TheSirfurryanimalWales one more similarity, these are the only two games where defense controls the ball.

@redredred Some debate there....likely that baseball is in fact a derivative of rounders. Modern cricket is older than modern baseball. Common sense would dictate it came from England. I haven't seen any link between baseball and First Nations people.

@KiwiBird there are scorecards online of eighteenth century cricket matches...I can’t remember where I found them though...lots of ‘bowler unknown’ as a catcher was seemingly deemed the wicket taker.
