@ronisme1 Ehhhh...they weren't as good as people thought they were. We were in first place in our division by leagues because our competition was all garbage. Also, LaRussa is a fucking chump who can't run a team, and the Sox don't have reliable pitching. Giolitto is talented but his inexperience manifests in streaky performances. He's a hot-and-cold player right now. Dallas Keuchel is trash, Carlos Rodon is trash, and Craig Kimbrel can't close to save his life. Ten years ago, Kimbrel was a good closer, but he's done nothing but give up ninth inning leads for the last three seasons. Michael Kopech is an excellent pitcher but he can't seem to stay healthy. So that leaves Dylan Cease, who is really good, but he can't pitch every single game.

Although I think Kopech will be more reliable next season. His injuries were mostly freak accidents that resulted from bad luck. He missed almost two months because he sliced his hand open on a glass water bottle that broke when he was refilling it. What are the odds of that happening?
