@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout they are in a corner , in a PR nightmare , w their words and promises on the line. Are they gunna walk the walk ? Time to nut up or shut up, so to speak .

From a sociological standpoint, it's unquestionably a good thing; forcing people to confront their unacknowledged sexism is pretty much the only way it'll be dealt with. From an economic standpoint, I do feel for the women athletes who stand to see their careers derailed, but I can't help that.
From a personal standpoint, the only sports team I follow is the Washington Generals (laugh all you want; I save hundreds of hours a year by not having to watch the games, since I know they're going to lose), so it doesn't directly affect me at all.
