Do you believe she was lying when she said he raped her multiple times?

@Entwistle It was the same interview. She said that he told her that as his wife she "[b]had[/b] to", and she considered that rape (she’s not wrong). But in spite of that and his infidelities and children by other women, she was his only wife, they never divorced and she never left him.

@Guitarman123 Considering how little Rita has to gain from being open about it now (other than a possible need to unburden herself), it’s probably true. Their children are all grown. And Marley was [b]not[/b] discreet during their childhoods.

@bijouxbroussard it might very well be true and you're probably right. Just the timing seems a little off and especially to mention it in her memoir which bringing up such a controversial incident can help increase sales. We'll never truly know
