@Jonjdw oh im sorry to hear that. they say they are a huge drain on resources, loud and polluting. i was thinking how if i had a house that a data center was going in nearby... if itd be possible to sue it to recoup the plummet in property value that would probably arise from it.

@VladG94 Basically a useless worry for us, as the morality of Chinese programmers is out of our control. I do not believe the desperate Chinese will impose ANY safety constraints other than those which constrain the A.I. not to attack the Chinese.

Sigma Force?

I have been called a sigma male in that I look upon the world as my ant farm. I do not seek any approval from any group or clique. Ironically that results in more approval coming my way 🤷

@Thrust This particular definition of Sigma Force is defined by James Rollins as :"A covert, science-driven special operations unit of the U.S. Defense Department, embedded within DARPA, tasked with protecting national security through the fusion of elite combat skills and advanced scientific knowledge."

He takes it a bit further, stating that Sigma is the best of ALL men in ONE man.

Disclaimer: I am in this particular field, and I know we don't need the massive data centers to accomplish what I'm looking for, but we DO need them for military and surveillance applications.
