I finally lost my temper with ChatGPT today.

I found myself yelling at a dumb computer program, and I just don't know why I expected more from it.

It seems like a simple matter. Create a reference sheet for a character, then render that character according to the specifications on the reference sheet, every time. But no. Even though ChatGPT is capable of repeating back to me the instructions I give, down to the slightest detail like a rat skull pendant, red pince-nez, and top hat, I find myself fighting for hours and sometimes even days at a time to get a single illustration of the character I want to draw.

The latest character I just gave up on is the one I use in my Facebook profile. My oldest alias, Carden Blackthorne. (Yes, I reused the name when I made Corvus.) it's a simple enough character to make, or so I thought. He stands at a height of 6'8",'is skinny and pale, has a pointy black goatee and a matching ponytail, and dresses in dark Gothic clothing, sometimes including a top hat. The one thing I told ChatGPT he doesn't have? A mustache. So guess what ChatGPT is literally incapable of drawing him without? Go on, guess, you'll never guess.
