How much trust do you have in AI, and what concerns do you have with it?

@MsSwan accept translating Languages. That's the only A.I I use just to listen to historic figures back then and nailed it. I've been curious what all figures are saying to understand what they stand for and who they really are.
@MsSwan sorry but that's not how the world works, and that's the mentality people had for every other disruptive technology; the only way AI will ever get wiped out is with a G5 solar flare or enough nukes to send humanity back to the medieval times.

@MsSwan It won't work; it's as if you proposed to make nukes illegal in the 1940s; they would've still been researched and ultimately deployed somewhere.

Suppose you make "AI" illegal in Europe + USA, research will continue in non-western countries (China in primis), and eventually the only practical difference is that the countries that didn't involve themselves with the ban will have a massive technological advantage over those that did.
