@Josh1454 valid argument techmically, but misplaced. Most scientific consensus is that it's due to cross signals in the brain from feet and genitals sharing a path in the cortex.

@basilfawlty89 actually the crossed signal in the cortex is a very old and dated theory. With no actually evidence behind it and most people in science finding it speculative. The theory that has gained more traction is that oxytocin is released during the stimulation of the nipple. This is the bonding hormone. This creates the bond between mother and child as it’s released in the breast milk so that humans would develop a connection to keep up child rearing. So as we grow older we associate this with the main loving relationship we had. So when we see breasts we get a sense of comfort first and because it’s in the general sense of sexual contact we immediately associate it as sexual. That mixed with a puritanical background which made it taboo to see a woman’s breasts outside of a sexual contact did the rest.
