Rung stuck on left hand

Small cut under ring needs removing skin above it red and infected. Tried to remove it using Vaseline, washing up liquid etc??

Working construction i have seem that many times
Have seem 2 electricians have there weddings rings welded to finger from live AC wire touching it.
gold is a great conductor
