Bored, lonely and looking for new friends.

Hi, everyone. I'm Travis, a 55 year old gay man in Michigan that hasn't even been on a date in 7 years, much less been intimate. I'm at the point where I 😩 when I think about why I haven't found someone and I just wish I could figure out how to meet a guy that is a good fit for me. I'm on some apps but all the guys look for on there is... How soon can we "do it?" I'm not really looking for that, but it's nice when it happens.

For the most part, what I'm looking for is someone to share my highs and lows with, to laugh and be discouraged with and to have intelligent conversations with. I just want to stop crying as I wonder, "Why NOT me?"

Guess I'm just looking to vent and get advice.
