Yes, absolutely.
Without having had a meamingful gay experience, someone might think that they were bisexual or straight.
They might acknowledge that they find certain individuals of their own sex attractive without thinking seriously that they might have a sexual interest in someone of their own sex.
Coming to terms with one’s sexuality can often be a journey/process rather than a case of instant recognition.
