Metal spike shoes

My gf and I went golfing today. Rained ladt night and the course was still eet at 8 this morning.

She and i teed off at 0820. We walked the course as we usually do and our shoes were soaked through by the forth hole. We took off our shoes and socks and began to play. Around the 8th hole an older gentleman noticed, approached us, telling us this wasn't allowed.
" we're not bothering anyone", i told him, " plus the sign in the vlub house says No Spiked shoes. Doesn't say anything about barefeet". He wa lost for words, peeved, and walked away. I finished with a score of 82 and my gf, 84.

@rachelsj We tend to play awful when we have to wait, so a female companion would surely help us get through the slow times.
