Question for barefooters! How tough are your soles? [I Am Always Barefoot]

As y’all know I’m barefoot 247 and my feet & soles are far tougher than any shoe 😌

I can walk on the roughest surfaces barefoot and it feels like a message 😏

Tough! I can walk over sharp rocks without an issue.

@SandraB Impressive.

Extremely tough and hard and strong with very thick skin.I can walk through broken glass with my feet bare,the glass just gets crushed and breaks more underneath my feet.I kick tree trunks as part of my martial arts training,the bark breaks off and the wood underneath gets damaged from my kicks.People are in awe at work when they see me practice by kicking a reinforced steel roof support.I have been barefoot for over three years.

That’s good news as heel cracks must be painful? Why have you stopped getting them do you think ?@Barefooter25

@Justin1066 Sometimes I do put moisturizer on but cracked heels have never been painful.

That’s good -what has been the most painful encounter you’ve had because you were in your bare feet ? @Barefooter25

I can climb a hill barefoot and I have no problems walking over rocks. They feel great when they come in contact with my rough soles. ☺️😃

@Justin1066 Our bare feet and soles are far tougher than any shoe 😇👣

@BarefootLeilani I guess you probably aren’t phased by bubblegum on the pavement then !

@Barefooter25 When you do have really hot temperatures -like 90 degrees - and your bare soles are on the streets and sidewalks, do they tend to get too dry and crack ?

When I was a little girl I had built up quite the callus layer. Shoes actually made them hurt. They took me to have them sanded down a bit so I could wear shoes

@tallpowerhouseblonde I didnt have shoes most of the time growing up. If I asked for any I got a beating or tortured and screamed at. So I made do. After I was rescued from all that I was 11 and the damage was done. It took several appointments and soaking my feet and mom rubbing medicine on them. At first shoes felt so miserable , but I managed to get used to them. I think about that when I slip on a pair of heels for work and wonder how I would have reacted to those on my feet then. 🤣

@tallpowerhouseblonde made me who I am today 😌. 😉
I,had a friend that could walk over broken glass ...and just crunch it under foot.

I don't think she ever wore shoes when we were kids ...sometimes not even at school.
RebeccaG · 46-50, F
@BoobooSnafu definitely can’t do that!
@RebeccaG it was freaky when it happened...she didn't know she could do it.

We were walking to the beach...over the carpark, and we heard this crunching sound. Looked down , and she was standing on a broken bottle . But her feet were fine .

We both laughed...as kids do , and went onto the beach.
Never really thought about it till I got older

So with hardened soles, are they ticklish?
Miked43 · 51-55, M
@Gentlequill My wife never wears shoes. Speaking only for her, her soles are definitely tougher than mine. But she is SUPER ticklish still!
