1. No such thing as a bondage whip. That's like saying what type of plate forks are there? There's bondage and theres whips.
2. Feel depends upon style
3. Then each style of whip can be made from different materials...and in different sizes.
...which also effects feel.
But to give you a basic understanding:
- the larger and broader the surface, the blunter the feel.
- the thinner or finer the surface, ths sharper the feel.
Hard materials also contribute also to bluntness.
Flexible materials conversely are sharp.
...and of course, softer materials are softer.
Then....of course there is the manner in which it is used. There are all types of 'strike'.
THEN ....there is mindset.
In the briefest way possible i can explain is : some get off on pain, some dont feel it as pain.
I can hear you ask "how do they not feel it as pain?"
Imagine a prima ballerina as she dances on stage. Her feet are being crushed and extended and used beyond their natural capabilities. She's euphoric while she dances. Her mind and endophins are translating body feels into sublime passion of her art.
The finale is done. She comes off stage....and collapses in agony as the euphoria wanes.
This is an example of what can happen in the mind - it literally "switches" pain over to euphoria through endorohins, adrenaline and altered states of mind.
So your question is very difficult to answer.
Even from those who have experienced it, as the sensations are highly subjective 🤷♀

There is no one "bondage whip" that I am aware of. There are many types of whips that can be used in BDSM.
