I can understand concerns about modesty with breastfeeding in public but I never understood how people can oppose breastfeeding in general. Do they think people have been using formula since the dawn of man? :/

To be honest, I don't even see a problem with the "modesty" part. Afterall, modesty comes from within. So if a person has the guts and confidence to "show all" in public, then others should probably take a lesson from it instead of putting them down. So no, I literally cant comprehend why anyone would have a problem.

I wasn't referring to outright exhibitionism. That would be inappropriate as there are always children around. I was referring to it strictly in the context of breastfeeding. :)
