A question: Did Adam and Eve have navels?

no but have heard Adam said Lord I got more ribs, you got more girls

There is a very old joke from Germany about that.

Bismarck dies and goes to Heaven. St Peter has heard that Bismarck is believed to be the most clever German of all time, and decides to test him.

"Otto," says St Peter, "Can you tell me who among these thousands of dead humans standing before us here in Heaven are Adam and Eve?"

Bismarck examines the heavenly host one by one, and says, "These two, right here."

St Peter is flabbergasted. "You are right, Otto! But how did you know?"

"It was easy," said Bismarck. "They are the only ones without a navel."

Being created by the hand of God , I would say no… unless he poked their bodies with his finger to see if they were “done”.

If you believe the fable is absolute truth then "logically" they could not have had navels, but the story can only be taken as some sort of parable.

If you take it too literally it says we are all descended not from that one couple, but from their incestuous children...

Though I wonder if the Book of Genesis with its no-one-before theme was coined or adapted from some pre-Hebrew myth for "political" reasons. A sort of Year 0; rather as the Khmer Rouge tried to stamp out all their country's history prior to Pol Pot's rise to power. (Though without his savagery.)

Perhaps God poked the bottom of their tummies like the doughboy. When their bellybuttons came out, Adam and Eve went "UUhhhhoh!!!"

That has been a common discussion. If God wanted them to have such, then that would be the case.
