Family Matters! A brother and two in-laws
My husband has four brothers and two brothers-in-law (BIL). One brother and the two BILs have a little crush on me.
The two BILs seem innocent enough, I’ve only caught them checking me out a couple of times when we are all hanging out by the pool. And they are so sweet and nice to me.
However, his brother checks me out often and has for the past 30 years. It’s not creepy though - it feels like it is genuine curiosity and sincere admiration for my fun personality and short curvy body. He also seeks me out at family gatherings to hang out and talk. A few years ago he started making my favorite cocktail (which is a unique cocktail) whenever they hosted the family gatherings. He and his wife seem to have a really great marriage, and I suspect that his crush on me is all in good fun.
We ran into this brother in the hotel lobby the morning after our wedding and he says “so, everything all official?” to which my husband replied “yes, made it official twice!”
The really funny thing is that his wife almost seems to encourage it. She’ll say things like “honey, go see if Emily wants another cocktail” or “go ask Emily to help you bring in some more wine from the garage.”
