Why do people keep saying short men like tall women?

Not that it’s a bad thing.
I’m 5’11” 3/4 and most guys over 6ft won’t even look at me and hit on my short friends.
My ex boyfriends were 6ft and 5’7”
I got rejected by a 6’6 guy and found out he had a huge crush on my 5’4” cousin.
Some guys that were 5’6” 5’4” even hit on me. Or even 5’9”
