I would say no. If it was real. There are too many factors or situations that arise in life that can cause it to end. We may not be connected physically anymore but will still be through spirit. Once you bond, there will always be a part of you connected I believe.

I agree with the physical part can fade but if bonded emotionally (spirit), I think there's a good chance that can stay. However most times it's not strong enough in both people to hold both people together. I have a few people I had meaningful relationships with in my life that I still have a spiritual bond with but I'm sure they do not have.
