@HoraceGreenley seeing people in happy relationships in their 20s is depressing to me. I had a bad experience at 25 then 4 years of trying get over it.

I had what could have been beautiful but didn’t work out at 21 and it took me 7 years to get over it, though from 22-23 I tried a few times despite being messed up

@PaleandPolluted i got horribly dumped in my md twenties an it took me a long time to get over it too. 4 years sounds about right. It happens

@PaleandPolluted Yeah, but the model i dated in this case was no longer modeling and now working for a retail company in marketing. Her point was she couldn't get modeling work anymore. That happens to all models eventually,

@PaleandPolluted That's why. But Women have to go into the business knowing that. I remember speaking to a local TV news reporter who was pissed off that she lost her anchor spot and had to go back to reporting when she got older. I reminded her that she got the anchor job years ago by replacing a woman 25 years older than her. It happens to us all
