It's hard to get my attention I'm pretty scattered brained.

Doing a genuinely kind act would probably do it, because there's so much jerkiness in this world

Another vote for good conversation. Make me laugh. Be interested in me as a person. And understand that just because I’m kind of flaky doesn’t mean I am not paying attention.

The birds start squawking and flapping their wings, usually when they see me eating something green like salad or broccoli. They can make some noise doing that.

I don't see many people worthy of my focus or attention, but I am VERY drawn to great intellectual analysis of the current political situation.
