My mother did at 16. He passed away when she was 32. My father didn't marry my mother until both were 39. His first marriage.
I never did marry.
People can marry at any age and it still can work. BTW my mother's first husband was 12 years older than my mother. And my half brothers second wife was 16 years younger than my half brother. Last I heard, it was still going, when their eldest child was 12.
