I think being too attractive can be trouble.

True, if they rely on their looks for everything they’ll get screwed when they age and they have nothing else to back them up. @WhateverWorks

I see it a lot now in my late 30s. Lots of people who got by on their looks are now kinda up a creek without a paddle. Some of them are aware of how their looks fading has affected their life and others are still acting as though they walk on water very confused why they aren’t being so doted upon anymore @SW-User

That’s why people need to not be soo narcissistic and have goals in life other than looking like a movie star. Looks fade away. See how many beautiful women look nothing like their young selves when they age. They don’t even look like they’re the same person. @WhateverWorks

There’s truth to that, but also for people who are exceptionally attractive by common standards there are many who don’t need to do that much. It’s just their genetics. Sure they can do their hair, make up, clothes etc. but at the end of the day their body is their body, their face is their face. Those kind of people get the world handed to them at a young age before they really understand why. Without parental guidance to resist frequently taking short cuts to what they want their looks kinda plop them on an easy road when people are quick to make things easy for them. I’m sure that easy road is a frequent temptation that’s difficult to pass up. For this reason in many ways what becomes of many of them is sad @SW-User
