I think being too attractive can be trouble.

A woman would have problems with men all over her. A man would have problems with women fighting over him. The list goes on and on. As long as a person doesn’t look hideous than thats fine.

In my 20's I really soaked up the attention and compliments, I was totally shallow with no real sense of integrity or values. It took me hours to get ready for a night out. Little wonder we elders now ask, "Why is youth wasted on the young?" I was a snob and turned up my nose. And for what?

Ironically, inside I felt inferior and hungered for real love.

I think we are all like that in our 20s. At that age we don’t understand what’s truly important. I wish I wasn’t soo naive in my 20s. Looks are at the top of many peoples lists are that young age. @Grateful4you
@SW-User Maybe they should teach child developmental sequence in High School to enhance youthful self -awareness (?)

They should but most of the teenagers are too self centered, troubled, depressed to even care . @Grateful4you
@SW-User And yet, many are poets or seekers. Things have a way of finding balance.
