When a young heterosexual man says he values a woman mainly for her personality and not her looks, I get suspicious. It would be the first time in history, I think, or at least the first time my own 73 years.
If a man says this, he is either lying to me or, even worse, lying to himself.
Yes, personality certainly counts with many men, but looks are what is generally valued above all else.

@greenmountaingal personality can either enhance or reduce how beautiful someone seems to be I would sooner go for someone less good looking with a lovely sweet caring friendly personality than I would for a physically very beautiful woman with a mean bitchy greedy personality who would use me as a doormat and for any money she can get...
