My neighbor who is a female called me and told me she likes my wife.

I thought the idea was exciting and so I told my wife. She respectfully says she’s not interested. But when the neighbor tells her to go over to Sun bathe my goes. The neighbor has made it known how she feels about my wife to my wife by the way she flirts with her. Although my wife says she’s not interested than why does she act on it. Am I reading to much into it or is this just a girl thing?
