Always wondered if girls 'pick up' other girls just out and about ?

I don't mean at the meat factories (bars/clubs/etc.). Like just when doing day to day stuff? Does it work the same as when a guy is supposed to see a girl he likes and needs to stump up the nerve to say hello?

I personally think it’s random, in either case. I do not think bars/clubs is a place to find love or a connection. All my relationships have just came to me without any sort of looking on my part. I can only speak of my experiences, of course. I think a word or glance is far superior to a drunken kiss.
