Why do women use intuition instead of logic ?

A lot of women are more ruled by emotion than men. In their traditional roles, men would be out working, and they had to be practical and strong. Women would be home with the children, being loving and nurturing. It would be interesting to study how much of that today comes naturally, and how much is still instilled in them by society.

I’ve regretted not listening to intuition when I should have. That’s probably why.

Supposedly logic is a male trait, but perhaps that might be painting too many men with the broad brush of stereotype. I have seen far too many men in the throes of illogical emotion, I suppose.

I can tell you a bit about the women on my mother's side of the family, which almost seems to support your premise. From my grandmother on, they all had a tendency to rely on "feelings", or premonitions. Some of them had dreams of the future, or claimed to see ghosts. ALL of them tended toward mysticism mixed with their fervent religious convictions of various kinds.

Intuition is that inner voice that is never wrong.

A woman who hasn't pushed away her femininity as her natural way of being is governed by her intuition. She is the feminine, aligned to mother nature who is also the feminine, and when her femininity and her nurturing heart is open, her intuition is her wisdom.

Women use logic just as much (or as little) as you do. But they may start from different postulates than you, thus reaching different conclusions.
