My ex says I am attractive but I am not conventionally beautiful, like the type in magazines. How should I take this?

We were just catching up and chatting. Is that really a bad thing? He went on to say the beauty surrounds me and that I am pretty but not the common type ...it was a struggle until he didn't want to talk about it anymore

@TheRascallyOne yeah, after he said he didn't want to talk about it anymore. We initially started talking about women who were pretty so I went in for it.... It's something I am sensitive about but that's life
