Do any women maintain a bush rather than shave it?

As a dude who grew up with Playboy, Penthouse and Hustler pre-shaving I'm at a quandry as to why women shave it down to grass-less playground.

Just maintain the fur and I'll be happy to venture the plumage.

@NoThanksLeon Sadly you are probably not wrong. Every guy I met who said he preferred bald pussy also made comments to the effect that it was a way to have a woman look like a minor without the prison sentence.
