For women - if you're bi or lesbian how did you 'figure out' that was your sort of preference?

For me it happened during my pregnancies.

25 ish years ago. I didn't feel in any way interested in other women sexually before then.

@crownedwithlaurel97 I don't believe in people being 'born' with a sexual preference but if you feel that explains it for you that's really great.
@butterflybaby75 right i must be wrong about myself then

@crownedwithlaurel97 I didn't say you're wrong. Many people believe that even though we are defined as male or female by gender at birth we don't have pre-determined 'opposite sex' sexual attraction pre-wired. I don't think there is any type of attraction pre-wired and that it depends on early childhood experiences to create those neural linkages. Most children are born into man/woman couple families but as as babies we have no idea what 'intimacy' means or 'sexual attraction' is.

@butterflybaby75 Research indicates this is not the case. Kinsey, and those who followed him. Kinsey scale.

Your theory does not explain people in repressive societies, with absolutely no exposure to homosexuality in media and pop culture, who turned out gay.
