I Love White Men
Myfriends keep saying I am racist because I like white men, but that's not the case. I am attracted to white men and that has nothing to do with racism. I can never imagine myself with a non white man.(just a random thought)

Really interesting post. I think that, by definition, it is a "racist" preference because it is based purely on race. But is it wrong? Or "bad"?
Well, some say guys prefer blondes and if we limit this to natural blondes, then we are eliminating huge swaths of the human genomic and racial diversity. So again, this would be a racist preference. But is it wrong?
Clearly, you have the right to be with whoever you want and certainly people have preferences (tall, short, thin, muscular, long hair, short hair, light skin, dark skin) and some of these preferences have racial alignments. Maybe this is one particular racist feeling that isn't wrong? Idk.
Let me ask you a question... Do you prefer light colored skin? Is that what your underlying preference is? For example, a white guy of Mediterranean ancestry (Spanish, Italian, etc) who spends a lot of time in the sun could be quite dark in skin tone. Would this be a turn-off to you?

@Elise93 So a blonde guy with a dark tan would be no go? Interesting. I think your preference is "racist" but not really "wrong"... you have the right to like what you like.
Now the other question is: does someone else have the right to be offended by your preferences? Well, I know that I was told once by a guy that he only dated blondes (we weren't in a conversation about dating each other; it was just a general conversation about preferences). As a brunette, I found his statement idiotic and offensive. How could he dismiss out of hand every non-blonde in the world? But, I guess, it is his right. That didn't stop be from calling him an idiot though. 😜
