lol guys in the locker room are so girly

I was just watching this football documentary, and I swear, the most muscular tough guys on the field get to the locker room and start yelling out their emotions in the form of "inspirational speeches".

I have not heard them, but I suppose if they are anything like the average level of football punditry, the more "inspirational" they try to be, the dafter they sound!

By the way, why cannot they, or indeed anyone, use the original and far more elegant form of the adjective, "inspiring"?
