Does Atheism make you cruel to animals?

Today I learnt about a scientist who liked to lock cats in box's to test out their non binary mortality. I don't quite understand it but the box was like a death trap and because cats have nine lives, no one could be sure that the cat was actually dead until the box was opened.

This is very cruel and totally unnecessary.

If Atheism makes you that sadistic, is it really worth it?

Wow, have you got the wrong end of the stick on this one. Schrodinger didn't actually lock a cat in a box. It was a mental exercise. The idea was, if you put a cat in a box with a radioactive isotope, you wouldn't know whether the cat is alive or dead until you opened the box again. Therefore, both possibilities were equally likely, and both possibilities existed until you opened the box.

Nothing to do with atheism, and nothing to do with actual cruelty to actual animals.

All you do when you post stuff like this is make Christians look stupid.
